3. Free Wi-Fi Audit

Pro Tech Pick may offer a complimentary or free Wi-Fi audit to eligible hotels or businesses.

The free Wi-Fi audit is intended to identify observable Wi-Fi or network-related concerns such as:

  • weak wireless signals;

  • Wi-Fi dead zones;

  • slow connectivity;

  • latency;

  • packet loss;

  • connection instability;

  • access-point placement;

  • channel interference;

  • capacity issues;

  • network configuration concerns; and

  • infrastructure bottlenecks.

A free Wi-Fi audit is a preliminary technical assessment only.

It does not automatically constitute:

  • penetration testing;

  • vulnerability exploitation;

  • forensic investigation;

  • statutory cybersecurity audit;

  • regulatory certification;

  • compliance certification;

  • PCI DSS certification;

  • ISO/IEC 27001 certification;

  • guarantee of network security; or

  • confirmation that every technical or security problem has been identified.

Separate written authorization and terms may apply to any on-site network audit.

4. Authorization for Network Access

Nothing on this Website by itself authorizes Pro Tech Pick to access a client's private network, administrator interface, server, firewall, router, Wi-Fi controller or other restricted system.

Any such access must be authorised by a person having appropriate authority on behalf of the relevant hotel or business.

Where appropriate, Pro Tech Pick may require a separate:

  • authorization form;

  • audit scope document;

  • statement of work;

  • service agreement;

  • work order; or

  • written confirmation

before accessing or testing a client system.

5. Client Responsibility for Authorization

A client requesting technical testing represents that it has authority to permit Pro Tech Pick to access the relevant systems.

Clients must not request Pro Tech Pick to access:

  • third-party networks;

  • systems owned by another organisation;

  • franchise-controlled infrastructure;

  • cloud platforms;

  • ISP-managed systems; or

  • other restricted infrastructure

unless the client has appropriate authority or permission.

Pro Tech Pick reserves the right to decline or discontinue any activity where appropriate authorization cannot be established.

6. No Unauthorised Security Testing

Unless specifically authorised under a separate written scope, Pro Tech Pick will not intentionally undertake activities such as:

  • password cracking;

  • exploitation of vulnerabilities;

  • phishing;

  • social engineering;

  • malware deployment;

  • denial-of-service testing;

  • security-control bypass;

  • destructive testing;

  • intentional interception of communications; or

  • access to personal files or accounts.

Any penetration testing or other intrusive security assessment must be separately agreed and authorised.

7. Website Enquiries

You may submit information through enquiry, consultation or audit-booking forms available on the Website.

You agree that information submitted by you will be reasonably accurate and that you have authority to submit it.

Submitting a form does not automatically create a binding service contract.

A service relationship may become binding only after the parties agree to applicable commercial terms, scope, authorization, quotation, work order or other relevant documentation.

8. Free Services and Offers

Any service described as “free”, “complimentary” or having “no upfront audit cost” is subject to:

  • availability;

  • geographical coverage;

  • eligibility;

  • technical feasibility;

  • scheduling;

  • scope limitations; and

  • Pro Tech Pick's acceptance.

Pro Tech Pick may modify, suspend or withdraw promotional offers where permitted by law.

A free assessment does not require a customer to purchase further services unless separately agreed.

9. Quotations and Paid Services

Prices, packages or service descriptions displayed on the Website are informational unless expressly stated otherwise.

Final pricing may depend on factors including:

  • property size;

  • number of systems or endpoints;

  • network complexity;

  • required service level;

  • number of access points;

  • equipment;

  • travel;

  • support hours;

  • infrastructure condition; and

  • agreed scope.

Any formal quotation, work order or signed service agreement may contain additional or different terms.

Where there is a conflict between these Website Terms and a signed client agreement relating to a particular service, the signed client agreement shall generally prevail for that service.

10. Recommendations

Technical recommendations supplied by Pro Tech Pick are based on information available at the time of assessment.

Recommendations may include upgrades, replacement, configuration changes, additional equipment or other technical improvements.

The client remains responsible for deciding whether to implement recommendations unless Pro Tech Pick has separately been engaged to implement them.

11. No Guarantee of Error-Free Technology

IT systems, Wi-Fi infrastructure and internet connectivity may be affected by circumstances beyond Pro Tech Pick's control.

These may include:

  • internet service provider outages;

  • hardware failures;

  • software defects;

  • radio-frequency interference;

  • electrical failures;

  • third-party configuration;

  • cyberattacks;

  • manufacturer issues;

  • building structure;

  • user-device compatibility; and

  • environmental conditions.

Accordingly, no statement on this Website should be interpreted as guaranteeing uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure operation of any technology environment.

12. Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity risks continually evolve.

No security assessment, firewall configuration, antivirus product, monitoring system or professional service can guarantee complete protection from all threats.

Cybersecurity-related services should therefore be understood as risk-reduction measures rather than a guarantee that a cyber incident will never occur.

13. Client Backups

Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important business information, configurations and systems before material changes are performed.

Where a technical project involves production infrastructure, backup and recovery requirements should be agreed as part of the relevant service engagement.

14. Third-Party Products and Services

Pro Tech Pick may work with or recommend products and services supplied by third parties, including:

  • internet service providers;

  • hardware manufacturers;

  • cloud providers;

  • software vendors;

  • cybersecurity providers;

  • hosting companies; and

  • networking manufacturers.

Pro Tech Pick does not control third-party products or services and cannot guarantee their availability, performance, security, pricing or future operation.

Any use of third-party products may also be subject to that provider's terms.

21. Testimonials

Testimonials or statements appearing on the Website describe individual experiences or views.

Results experienced by one business do not guarantee that another client will receive identical results.

Factors such as infrastructure, property size, equipment condition, internet connection and client requirements may affect outcomes.

22. Limitation of Website Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pro Tech Pick shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising solely from:

  • use or inability to use the Website;

  • reliance on general Website information;

  • third-party websites;

  • temporary Website unavailability; or

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Specific client services may be subject to separate liability provisions contained in the applicable service agreement.

23. No Professional Relationship Solely Through Website Use

Browsing this Website or submitting an enquiry does not by itself create:

  • an IT outsourcing relationship;

  • managed-services agreement;

  • cybersecurity engagement;

  • agency relationship;

  • partnership;

  • employment relationship; or

  • fiduciary relationship.

Any professional engagement must be separately agreed.

24. Changes to Services

We may update, modify, discontinue or introduce Website features and service offerings.

We do not guarantee that every service displayed on the Website will remain continuously available.

Continued use of the Website following an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted under applicable law.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

27. No Waiver

Failure by Pro Tech Pick to enforce a provision immediately shall not automatically constitute a waiver of that provision.

28. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law and any separately agreed dispute-resolution process, courts of competent jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction over disputes relating to Website use.
